 'SOP Principle' for Young Aspiring Scientists!!! 👩‍🔬👨🏾‍🔬

1. SELF BELIEF:- "There's nothing I can't do, in my area of competence"

2. OPTIMISM:- "You must do it, You can do it"

3. PASSION:- "Do it with full force"

Rañveer:-

[There are a lot of aspiring scientists watching you, उनको क्या advice देना चाहोगे?]

R. Chidambaram Sir:-

[See ऐसा है कि, Swami Vivekananda की बात कहूं एक?]

Rañveer:-

[Sure!]

R. Chidambaram Sir:-

[He said "The old theology was that you are an atheist if you don't believe in god; the new theology is you are an atheist if you don't believe in yourself!"

The 1st thing all young fellows should have is SELF-BELIEF. That has been my principle. I stay with the concept 'there is nothing India cannot do'. I belong to an institution BARC (Bhabha Atomic Research Centre) 'there is nothing BARC cannot do within its area of specialisation'; what is the corollary of that 'there is nothing I cannot do in my area of competence', that is what young fellows should know, self belief! "THERE IS NOTHING I CANNOT DO IN MY AREA OF COMPETENCE"

Then you have OPTIMISM. "ये कैसे होगा? नहीं होगा; शायद नहीं होगा" सब भूल जाओ! YOU MUST DO IT, YOU CAN DO IT; optimism!

PASSION! जो कुछ भी करोगे पुरी ज़ोर से करो, ये आधा–अधूरा कुछ किया , इसमें थोड़ा मुंह लगाया, उसमें थोड़ा; ऐसा नहीं ।

Self belief, Optimism & Passion this is what young people should have.]
